Itinerario
we can meet you at Marrakech Airport and take you to your riad in the medina of Marrakech. Once you have settled into your riad, we suggest you to explore Marrakech's medina. In the evening, be sure to head down to the main square here food stalls, acrobats, snake charmers and story tellers congregate creating an memorable atmosphere.
for the 2nd day we suggest to look some of the main cultural sights in Marrakech, including the Palais el Badi ,the Bahia Palace also Medersa Ben Youssef or jardin majorelle it's all depend on your choice, interweaved with a lunch watching the storks nesting on the ramparts of the ancient city or may be some people watching at a cafe in the Spice market. In the evening, if you want to enjoy dinner in one of the restaurants over-looking the main square, or ask your host to book you a table at the atmospheric restaurant, serving up delicious French & Moroccan fusion food.
Start at 08:00 from Marrakesh to Dades gorge via the High Atlas mountains Tizi n’Tichka pass throughout the high Atlas Mountains we will have time to stop and enjoy impressive landscapes and Berber hamlets. We’ll pass through Ouarzazate, after that we will continue to dades valley , trough the megoun ,skoura (berber villages around the valley) and spend the night in dades valley. 7 hours drive and visites
It is highly recommended to skip hotel experience and camp out near the cliff side of the Atlas Mountains. Within the 20 km of Tinghir, there is accommodation available for all visitors.
If you aren’t into camping , you can spend the night in the hotel Chez pierre where your accommodation take place.
The next day we continue along the Dades valley, visiting Todra, Todra Gorge and other interesting sites, headingto Merzouga. At Merzouga we'll explore the village ,Explore Morocco desert and meet our Camels who will take us for 1 and a half hours into the Dunes to reach our desert camp at Erg Chebbi. Each person rides their own Camel and additional Camels are provided to carry your luggage.
The Camel trek is usually just prior to sunset, so that you may enjoy the sun setting over the landscape from the top of the Dunes. Once we arrive at the Erg Chebbi Desert camp, we are served with a cup of delicious hot minty tea and pasteries , we spend the evening under the stars, on the dunes and beside the warmth of the fireside.
The camp does have washing and toilet facilities. Those that wish to can sleep directly under the stars, but there are Bivouacs for everyone. The stars in the desert are a great opportunity to see as there are no artificial lights around and you can fully appreciate the glory of the skies above.
In Todra you can have a hiking from 1h30 to 2h excursion there along the gorge
Sleep under the stars and towering sand-dunes of Merzouga in the Sahara Desert in a traditional Berber camp, camel ride.
A short way out of Merzouga is the village of Khemliya, which has a small community of people from the Gnawa ethnic group.
Wake up to a desert sunrise and then return to the kasbah by camel. You will then have a chance to get ready and enjoy a breakfast.
Once you are refreshed, you will head out of the desert for a drive to Ait Benhaddou. This is an ancient fortified city containing countless kasbahs and has been the atmospheric subject of numerous hollywood movies (The Mummy, Gladiator, Alexander, Lawrence of Arabia…) You will have the chance to walk around the buildings and explore with your guide. Approximately 5-6 hours of driving,
TRANSFER TO AIT BEN HADDOU VIA KASBAH TELOUET .We’ll have a visit around the main attraction the UNESCO World Heritage Site of ait ben haddou, which is located around 30 kilometers away. The beautiful mud brick city is one of the most interesting places to visit in Morocco and should not be missed on any trip. Built around 1,000 years ago, this village still enchants with a unique backdrop.
After breakfast this morning, a driver will pick you up and transfer you back to Marrakech. Your 183-km journey will take you through the Atlas Mountains, passing back through Tizi N'Tichka and many Berber villages. You’ll have lunch break on the way to Essaouira, we’ll get chance to a visit argan forest and argan cooperative , the afternoon You can wander across the beach , watch the fishermen bringing in the day’s catch, explore the port or take in the atmosphere of the town itself.
Or you can spend some time relaxing on the beach, explore the old fort ramparts and take a close look at the craftsmanship and exquisite carpentry in the little thuya wood workshops.

After breakfast, we can take a camel ride (or horse trek if you prefer) over to Diabat. Diabat is a tiny village located about 3km from Essaouira. It contains the 18th century ruins of an old Sultan’s palace and it was a popular destination for hippies in the 60’s. Jimi Hendrix reportedly visited and wrote the song ‘Castle Made Of Sand’ as a result! Also you can do surfing session if you want to.
After starting the journey from ESSAOUIRA to MARRAKECH which taking approximately 3 hours drive back to your accommodation in Marrakech , you’ll have lunch break there and in 4pm you’ll get transferred to Riad Khabia where your cooking session take place , cooking with local ingredients must rank as one of the best ways to explore Moroccan culture.
