From Marrakech, travel in comfort through the dramatic Atlas Mountains to the lush oasis of Skoura. Along the way, we will stop at the UNESCO-listed Ait Benhaddou, a striking fortified village, and Ouarzazate, famed for its historic kasbahs and film studios.

We will continue your luxury tour into the vast Sahara Desert, driving through the awe-inspiring Todra Gorge and then riding camels across the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi. As the sun sets, we’ll arrive at a luxury desert camp where you’ll enjoy fine dining and music beneath the stars.

How To Get There And Get Back
We will pick you up from your accommodation in Marrakech city (many riads are not accessible by car, so the driver may have to park nearby to get you) and when you finish, we will drop you off at the nearest point to your hotel or riad.

Food On The Tour
The food on this tour are on a half-board basis. Meals on our Morocco tours that include time in the desert or the mountains are cooked by the Berber guides and the food is fresh and healthy. For example breakfast might be jam, bread and butter, cookies, fruit, juice and coffee or milk.

Lunch may be salad with tomatoes, carrots, lentils, beans, rice or pasta. Sometimes we have fish (sardines, tuna) and seasonal fruit.

Your dinner could be soup, cous-cous, Moroccan tagine, olives and could include nuts and fruit.

Can my dietary requirements be catered for?

Day 1 Marrakech

Arrive in Marrakech and we will begin your Moroccan adventure. You will be welcomed at the airport by one of our representatives who will assist you and take you directly to your hotel, the elegant El Mamounia. Once settled, you can enjoy a guided walk through the vibrant Medina and wander the narrow lanes filled with colour and history. In the evening, you may wish to dine at one of Marrakech’s popular restaurants, such as Al Fassia or So Lounge, and enjoy traditional Moroccan cuisine.

Day 2 Marrakech: Historical Tour – Majorelle Gardens – Yves Saint Laurent Museum

After breakfast, your guide will collect you for a full day of exploration. Begin with Marrakech’s most famous landmarks: the Koutoubia Minaret, the Saadian Tombs, El Badi and El Bahia Palaces, and the Dar Si Said Museum. Each site reveals a different chapter in the city’s rich heritage. For lunch, we suggest La Grande Café de la Poste in the modern district of Gueliz (lunch is not included).

In the afternoon, visit the peaceful Majorelle Garden, created by artist Jacques Majorelle. Stroll among exotic plants and bright blue buildings before heading next door to the Yves Saint Laurent Museum, where you can discover the life and work of the legendary fashion designer.

Day 3 Ait Benhaddou – Ouarzazate – Skoura

Leave Marrakech behind as your driver takes you through the scenic Atlas Mountains. Stop at Ait Benhaddou, a beautifully preserved fortified village and UNESCO World Heritage Site. Continue through Ouarzazate, known for its film studios and historic kasbahs, before reaching Skoura. This lush oasis, also called the Valley of a Thousand Kasbahs, is surrounded by palm trees and mountain views.

Day 4 Todra Gorge – Sahara Desert

Depart Skoura and head towards the Sahara Desert. En route, stop at the dramatic Todra Gorge, where towering cliffs form a breathtaking canyon. Later, arrive at the dunes of Erg Chebbi. Meet your desert guide and ride camels into the golden sand dunes. Spend the night in a luxury desert camp, enjoying dinner and music under the stars.

Day 5 Marrakech

Wake early for a sunrise camel ride through the dunes. After breakfast, we begin the journey back to Marrakech, crossing the Atlas Mountains with scenic stops along the way. Expect to arrive by late afternoon, ready to relax after an unforgettable desert experience.

Day 6 Departure

Today your Moroccan journey comes to an end. You will be transferred to the airport for your flight home, filled with memories of vibrant cities, desert landscapes, and warm hospitality. Safe travels and we hope to welcome you back soon.
