Guided Tour in Majorelle Garden and YSL Museum
In the afternoon enjoy visiting Les Jardin Majorelle. French painter Jacques Majorelle (1886 – 1962) dedicated forty
years of his life to the creation of the luxurious gardens and Berber museum. An amateur botanist, Majorelle
included plants from all five continents in the gardens and his studio, a Cubist style vibrant blue villa designed by
architect Paul Sinoir, has since been transformed into the museum.
The garden covers two and a half acres, and was opened to the public in 1947. The garden has been open to the
public since 1947. In 1980 it was bought by Yves Saint- Laurent and Pierre Bergé and Yves’ ashes were scattered
here after his death in 2008. The garden also houses the Islamic Art Museum of Marrakech, whose collection
includes North African textiles from Saint-Laurent's personal collection as well as ceramics, jewellery, and paintings
by Majorelle.
You will also visit the amazing Yves Saint-Laurent Museum next door to the gardens.

You will be met at your Hotel by your English-speaking driver and depart for Skoura in the morning.
Arriving at Ait Benhaddou, one of the best-preserved Kasbahs in the Atlas region earning it a UNESCO
listing. Enjoy the magnificent views out to the surrounding palmerie and beyond. From Ait Benhaddou,
you will carry on towards Ouarzazate, home of Morocco’s own ‘Hollywood’ as well as the very impressive
Kasbah Taourirt
Skoura, often referred as to as the valley of 1000 kasbah’s is a fertile oasis lined with immense palm
groves that provide great views of the Atlas Mountains alongside deserted landscapes. It is renowned for
the cultivation of roses. The palm groves were laid out in the 12th century by the Almohad sultan Yacoub
EL-Mansour and named after its original inhabitants, the Berbers of the Haskourene tribe.

After breakfast, you will depart Skoura for the Sahara. Your first stop is at the Todra Gorges, one of the
highlights of the South. This massive fault in the plateau divides the High Atlas from the Jebel Sarhro.
In the afternoon you will then arrive at Erg Chebbi, one of Morocco’s two large seas of sand dunes,
marking the start of the real Sahara Desert. With some of the dunes in this area rising to over 245 meters,
the colors of the rising and setting sun over these dunes make for a truly magical experience. Here your
driver will introduce you to your nomad guide for your overnight glamping experience.

Wake up early , just prior to sunrise, we have a 1h camel ride at sunrise to explore the area further , have breakfast &
have the opportunity to shower and we head back to Merzouga on our Camels or you can do quad biking also. When we
