Today Transfer to your hotel el mamonia where you’ll spend the 1st night
Welcome to Morocco! Upon arrival and passage through immigration and customs your view morocco representative will meet you at the exit hall with a sign showing your name.
In the early evening your guide will collect you at your hotel and take you on a 2 hours guided tour of the Marrakech medina.
We can take you in dinner to top Marrakech restaurants for example : Alfassia or la maison arabe or So lounge in Marrakech. (not booked or included).
This morning your guide will collect you at your hotel and take you for a full day’s exploration of Marrakech and its highlights and attractions.
Historical Tour in Marrakech
This morning you will be collected from your hotel for a historical discovery of Marrakech. While Marrakech is alive with modern life and development, it is also home to a wealth of buildings, sites and artefacts of crucial importance to Moroccan history. Some sights visited today include the Koutoubia Minaret and gardens, the Saadian Tombs, the El Badi and El Bahia Palaces and Dar Si Said, home to the Museum of Moroccan Arts.
Lunch is suggested at La Grande Café de la Poste in Gueliz (not booked or included).
Guided Tour in Majorelle Garden and YSL Museum
In the afternoon enjoy visiting Les Jardin Majorelle. French painter Jacques Majorelle (1886 – 1962) dedicated forty years of his life to the creation of the luxurious gardens and Berber museum. An amateur botanist, Majorelle included plants from all five continents in the gardens and his studio, a Cubist style vibrant blue villa designed by architect Paul Sinoir, has since been transformed into the museum.
The garden covers two and a half acres, and was opened to the public in 1947. The garden has been open to the public since 1947. In 1980 it was bought by Yves Saint- Laurent and Pierre Bergé and Yves’ ashes were scattered here after his death in 2008. The garden also houses the Islamic Art Museum of Marrakech, whose collection includes North African textiles from Saint-Laurent's personal collection as well as ceramics, jewellery, and paintings by Majorelle.
You will also visit the amazing Yves Saint-Laurent Museum next door to the gardens.
You will be met at your Hotel by your English-speaking driver and depart for Skoura in the morning.
Arriving at Ait Benhaddou, one of the best-preserved Kasbahs in the Atlas region earning it a UNESCO listing. Enjoy the magnificent views out to the surrounding palmerie and beyond. From Ait Benhaddou, you will carry on towards Ouarzazate, home of Morocco’s own ‘Hollywood’ as well as the very impressive Kasbah Taourirt
Skoura, often referred as to as the valley of 1000 kasbah’s is a fertile oasis lined with immense palm groves that provide great views of the Atlas Mountains alongside deserted landscapes. It is renowned for the cultivation of roses. The palm groves were laid out in the 12th century by the Almohad sultan Yacoub EL-Mansour and named after its original inhabitants, the Berbers of the Haskourene tribe.
After breakfast, you will depart Skoura for the Sahara. Your first stop is at the Todra Gorges, one of the highlights of the South. This massive fault in the plateau divides the High Atlas from the Jebel Sarhro.
In the afternoon you will then arrive at Erg Chebbi, one of Morocco’s two large seas of sand dunes, marking the start of the real Sahara Desert. With some of the dunes in this area rising to over 245 meters, the colors of the rising and setting sun over these dunes make for a truly magical experience. Here your driver will introduce you to your nomad guide for your overnight glamping experience.
Wake up early , just prior to sunrise, we have a 1h till 2h it’s upto you of camel ride at sunrise to explore the area further and you can do sandboarding or quadbiking then the afternoon at leisure for you to relax and enjoy your time in the Desert .
Today we’ll pick up you from merzouga and back to skoura Whilst you are a guest at Dar Ahlam there are aplethora of activities that you can do. These will be arranged when you arrive. we can organise Relaxing time: heated swimming-pool (length of 25 meters), hammam, indoor and outdoor massage rooms...
Body and face massages as well as scrubs with Moroccan soap in the hotel .We have organised for you to have a special dinner in oasis, this evening.
After leisury breakfast we begin our journey through the desert and over the Atlas mountains, with plenty of stops for photos, exploring and lunch will be on the way Then continue to Imlil.
A steady hike up through juniper forests offers spectacular views over the Berber dwellings of Imlil, the Tamatert Pass and up to the Tacheddirt Pass. Experience the village in the picturesque valley of olive groves where the rapid change in vegetation creates vibrant strips of cultivation close to the water source. A picnic lunch will be freshly prepared for you. From here walk on a network of picturesque paths through the village of Tizi Oussem and down towards the village of Ait Aissa before arriving back at Imlil.
