Itinerary

You'll get picked up from your hotel/riad . Then depart for Marrakech and transport across the High Atlas mountains via Tiz´N´Tichka pass, taking time to stop and enjoy beautiful landscapes, we'll visit the old Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou prior to sunrise or sunset, the crowds will be small, the stallholders either gone or still in bed and Kasbah Aït Benhaddou will be shimmering in a golden glow. Head up to the top of one of the surrounding hills and you will be rewarded with beautiful desolate mountain scenery. This Kasbah has appeared in over 20 films, including Gladiator and Lawrence of Arabia who was the first movie to be shot here. Dinner and overnight in the riad of Ait ben Haddou.

After breakfast, we will take a short visit to the movie studios and Kasbah Taouirt, before continuing the Valley of Roses and visiting the Kasbah Amridil in Skoura. This incredible Kasbah is located next to the river Amridil one of the largest in Morocco. There is possibility for lunch or just some tea or coffee, then we continue to Dades Boulmane and Dades Gorge, and see the beauty of this gorge, with many berber villages and grand views throughout the valley, then you'll head to your accommodation , where we stay overnight .

After breakfast, we head for another spectacular gorge, drive via Tinghir and into the Todra Gorge you will walk around the Palm Plantations and enjoy the panoramic views of Todra River in this beautiful canyon . Later on, we drive toward Tinjdad for a lunch meal in a local restaurant. Later you will pass by several villages such us Touroug (Berber village) and El-Jorf before reaching Merzouga. After that you will continue to the captivating dunes of Erg Chebbi, these dunes are called also Merzouga Dunes.You will pick up your camel prior the sunset, you’ll trek for an hour-and-a-half by camel to a Berber camp where you will enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner, and sleep under the stars or in tents at a desert camp.

Wake up early morning to enjoy the sunrise on the top of the dune in the Sahara Desert. After these beautiful moments, you will ride your camel back to the hotel where you can have shower and breakfast. You will then have a tour of the dunes on 4×4 allowing you to visit the black volcanic rocks of fossils, visit a nomad family living in the desert, visit to Khamlia village and entertainment of their spiritual music of Gnawa, and visit the lake Dayte Sarji that forms in springtime which attract pink flamingos and wildlife. Then you will have a break for lunch in Rissani. After lunch you will see the canal irrigation system and have a walk on the oasis located on the foot of the dunes , Aoufous and the Valley of Ziz. Continuation to Midelt across the pass of Tizi N’talghamt and head to your accommodation where you'll spend the night .

After breakfast you will be driven to Fes via the Cedar forest near Azrou and the mountain of the middle Atlas with the possibility to see the Barbary apes (monkies). You will have a stop in Ifrane (the Switzerland of Morocco) before arriving to Fes. Transfer to your riad and end of your trip with us .
