Where better to learn to cook authentic Moroccan cuisine than Marrakech? And of all of the things to do in Marrakech, cooking with local ingredients must rank as one of the best ways to explore Moroccan culture.
You’ll get the chance to find your ingredients in local, open-air souks and markets and also to learn some basic phrases in Arabic. We’ll provide you with a recipe too, so you can recreate a taste of Marrakech for your family and friends back home.

Of course, you’ll also get to eat the delicious traditional meal you’ve just made!

Please note that this a child-friendly tour. Children between the ages of 6 and 11 inclusively are permitted on this tour and children under the age of 6 can join this cooking lesson free of charge.

Cook and eat authentic Moroccan tagine, learn some Arabic and shop for fresh ingredients.

Day 1 :
Day one

You’ll depart at 9.00am from Marrakech and head to a quiet riad where you’ll get ready for your lesson.

Next, you’ll head off into Marrakech’s maze of markets and souks to find the perfect ingredients for your dish. You might be preparing tagine, tangia or even a dessert – its up to you!

When you have eaten and cooked your meal, you can head back over to market to look for authentic herbs and spices for your own Moroccan dishes.
