Trekking In Morocco: Atlas Trek - 2 Days

This two day trip is a fantastic opportunity to take an Atlas Mountain tour and explore the country around Imlil and Marrakech.

You’ll get to hike through the Azzaden Valley, travel through juniper forests and join the Berbers for some traditional mint tea and lunch.

Come and spend some time with the Berbers in the Moroccan countryside!

How To Get There And Get Back

You will be picked up from your accommodation in Marrakech city. Lots of riads do not have car access so the driver will park nearby and come to get you.

On your final day, you will be dropped off at the nearest point to your riad or hotel and our driver can call your riad to meet you if needed.

Food On The Trek

Meals during our Morocco tours are cooked by the Berber guides and muleteers and the food is fresh and healthy. For example breakfast might be jam, bread and butter, cookies, fruit, juice and coffee or milk.

Lunch may be salad with tomatoes, carrots, lentils, beans, rice or pasta. Sometimes we have fish (sardines, tuna) and seasonal fruit.

Your dinner could be soup, classic Moroccan tagine, couscous, olives and may include nuts and fruit.

Can my dietary requirements be catered for?

Absolutely. Just let us know about your catering preferences when you confirm your booking to ensure that any dietary requirements are met.

Please remind your guide and cook about your dietary requirements on the first day of the trek.
