A classic trip to the city of Fes

This Morocco tour offers a culturally rich and scenic journey through some of the country’s most iconic cities and landscapes, blending historical discovery with relaxation and natural beauty.

Your adventure begins with arrival at Casablanca airport, where you’ll be welcomed and transferred to Fez for a two-night stay in a traditional riad. Depending on your energy levels, you can either relax and enjoy the tranquil atmosphere of your accommodation or take a leisurely walk through the Fez medina to get your first taste of the local culture, aromas, and architecture.

After breakfast the following morning, an English-speaking guide will meet you at your riad for a guided exploration of the old medina of Fez, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This exciting day will take you through some of the city’s most historic and fascinating landmarks, including the Madrassa Bouanania, Batha Museum, Quaraouine University (one of the oldest universities in the world), and the iconic tanneries. Your guide will tailor the route to suit your interests, providing a personalized and insightful experience.

Next, the tour takes you out of the city and into the natural beauty of the Middle Atlas Mountains. You’ll visit Ifrane, affectionately known as “Little Switzerland” for its alpine-style architecture and clean, fresh environment. This peaceful mountain town offers a refreshing break and picturesque views of the Moroccan countryside.

From there, you’ll travel to Meknes, one of Morocco’s four imperial cities. In Meknes, you’ll visit grand monuments such as Bab Mansour – one of the most impressive gates in North Africa – Hedim Square, the historic ramparts, and the vibrant old medina.

A scenic drive brings you next to Volubilis, the most famous Roman archaeological site in Morocco. You’ll explore its ancient ruins and learn about its significance in Moroccan history. Later, you’ll head to Moulay Idriss, Morocco’s holiest town, where you can enjoy a traditional tagine or barbecue in the main square before returning to Meknes.

Your journey continues back to Casablanca, with a stop at the majestic Hassan II Mosque, one of the world’s largest and most architecturally stunning mosques. After your visit, enjoy a walk along the scenic Corniche before settling into your hotel.

On your final day, your driver will transfer you to the airport, marking the end of your unforgettable Morocco tour.
