A big Moroccan adventure

This 13-day Morocco tour offers a carefully put-together journey through the country’s most iconic and culturally significant destinations. Your adventure starts in Marrakech. Here, you can get to know the red-walled medina, the exciting markets and rolling hustle and bustle of a Moroccan city. A guided walking tour introduces you to the city’s historical sites, including the Koutoubia Minaret, Saadian Tombs, and Bahia Palace, all nestled within lively souks and colourful alleys.

From Marrakech, the tour takes you to the coastal town of Essaouira, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its artistic spirit, historic port, and 18th-century fortress. After some time in the sea air, you return to Marrakech before heading into the majestic High Atlas Mountains. A light hike in Imlil with a local guide offers insight into Berber culture and panoramic views of Morocco’s dramatic landscapes.

Continuing the Morocco tour, you’ll cross the stunning Tizi-n-Tichka Pass to reach Ait Ben Haddou, a famed fortified village featured in films like Gladiator and Lawrence of Arabia. Next, visit the film studios of Ouarzazate and explore Skoura’s lush palm oasis and the fragrant Valley of the Roses.

The journey deepens with a drive through Todra Gorges to the golden dunes of the Sahara Desert. Here, a camel trek at sunset leads you to a luxury desert camp where you’ll sleep under the stars. From Merzouga, the tour winds through the Middle Atlas Mountains to Fez, with a stop in the charming alpine town of Ifrane.

In Fez, you’ll explore the ancient medina on foot, visiting artisan quarters, historic madrassas, and vibrant markets. You’ll also enjoy a panoramic ramparts tour and day trips to the Roman ruins of Volubilis, the holy city of Moulay Idriss, and the imperial city of Meknes. We can add a special touch with a curated shopping tour before heading back to Casablanca.

Your Morocco tour ends with a visit to the amazing Hassan II Mosque, one of the largest mosques in Africa. With its blend of culture, history, and adventure, this tour offers a comprehensive and memorable experience of Morocco.
