Four days in the mountains
This Morocco tour offers an unforgettable trekking adventure through the stunning landscapes of the High Atlas Mountains, combining natural beauty with an exploration of our culture. We start in the charming village of Imlil, where you’ll meet your View Morocco trekking team, including experienced guides, muleteers, and mules that will support you throughout the trek.
On the first day, the trail takes you from Imlil through the Imenane Valley and up to Tizi n’Tamatert Pass at 2,279 metres. Along the way, you’ll pass traditional Berber villages such as Tamatert, stopping for lunch at the top of the pass with sweeping views of the surrounding mountains. The day ends in Tinerhourhine, a peaceful village where you’ll stay overnight in a local guesthouse, and spending some time with the Berber people.
Day 2 leads you on a longer trek through the Imenane Valley toward the ancient village of Ikkis. You will ascend to the Aguersioual Pass at 2,000 metres and enjoy lunch in Matate village. The day continues as you descend into the beautiful Azzaden Valley, with an option to stay overnight in the village of Aït Aïssa or in Tizi Oussem, where you can relax in a traditional Moroccan hammam (a traditional steam bath and a perfect way to unwind after a day of walking!).
On the final day, our Morocco tour offers a shorter trek to the Tizi Mzik Pass at 2,400 metres, followed by a descent to the village of Mzik for lunch. The trek concludes as you return to Imlil, where you will be transferred back to the city of Marrakech. This full experience allows you to explore the stunning Atlas Mountains while discovering traditional Berber villages, rich culture, and unforgettable scenery.
Ideal for those seeking a mix of adventure, culture, and nature, this Morocco tour provides a perfect balance of trekking and comfort, offering memories that will last a lifetime. Whether you are an experienced hiker or a keen explorer, this itinerary showcases some of the best that Morocco’s mountain regions have to offer.
